Jessica & Ryan were married 7/16 in Eau Claire. They had their ceremony at the Florian Gardens and the reception at the Metropolis next door. Both venues offered beautiful backdrops for photos.
I love these next two pictures. If you look closely, you can see the ring bearer trying to get his hand out of a tightly clenched flower girls fingers…..and when he did, he started his sprint back the way he came!
These bridesmaid’s dresses were so fun. I love the pattern!
Jenny and Shane were married last Saturday at Tagalong Golf & Resort in Birchwood, Wi. The weather was steamy and the sun was shining. It was beautiful and hot and we had fun taking pictures by the awesome pump house. I had met some of Jenny & Shane’s attendants at another wedding, so it was great to see them all again. It’s so hard to believe we’re in the middle of July already. I look forward to each wedding I photograph, but UGH! The time just goes too quickly. 
Remember Sara & Mike? They were married last June, on a day where it rained, and rained, and then rained sideways……..it did not let up! I think Sara needs to come over for a trash the dress session…. don’t you think?? 
Kirsten and Ben were married July 2nd at the Florian Gardens in Eau Claire. It was a stunningly beautiful day. While I photographed them I was wondering what it was about them that was so fun to just take pictures while they walked together. It dawned on me. They are so engaged in eachother’s presence that it just radiates through them.

Denelle & Jerry were married at the Florian Gardens last Saturday. I have been excited to shoot this wedding for a long time. Such a great couple to work with! 
FYI: Both brides I warned about buying rain boots because of the weather forecast, bought them, and not a single drop! If you don’t want rain on your wedding day, I suggest you buy a pair 🙂
We waited until near the end of the day for Jerry to pick up Denelle….at their engagement session, I asked him to “dip her and give her a kiss” and he slipped and Denelle went tumbling into the grass!
I am madly in love with her bouquet. It’s stunning in every photo. I just love the pop of one color. Brent Douglas did a fantastic job creating it!
Kendra & Phil were married last Friday in Bloomer. I must say, my favorite moment of each wedding I shoot is when I ask the bride to twirl in her dress. It seems silly, but the pictures are always beautiful and I feel like it brings her back to being a kid. Each time my 3 yr old puts on a dress {which is every day} She has to twirl in it before she decides on which one she wants to wear 🙂 Kendra picked a perfect dress and I just love this first picture…twirling and waving at guests!
Julie & Ryan were married last Saturday in Boyd, WI. It was beautiful and overcast most of the day. Julie & Ryan allowed a lot of time for pictures, which is awesome for me! They had a horse drawn carriage and we also got to stop at the Leinie’s brewery for some fun pictures! It was so hard for me to narrow it down for this blog! Congrats!
And Julie’s shoes…….they were so cool! She even decaled “bride” on the bottom of them. I love it when brides add their own creative element to their attire.
Amy and Josh were married at the Eau Claire Country Club last Friday. With all the rain we’ve been getting lately, I warned Amy to bring shoes she won’t mind getting wet. It must be because we were prepared that it didn’t rain a drop! Check out her cute rain boots we just had to have here wear anyway!
A lot of thought and hard work went into the {below} details. Her friend made all these paper cranes for table cards and Amy’s mom sewed each blue napkin.
This couple has a lot to smile about. They are headed to Jamaica to get married on the beach! And guess what?!! I get to go with them! What a great couple to head to paradise with. I’m looking so forward to it.

Tamara and Kelly were married Saturday in Luck, one of the cutest small towns ever! This was another fantastic group of people to hang with for the day. It rained again… (do we live in Seattle now or what?!) But, I’m really actually loving this climate. The overcast skies, peaks of sunshine, lush green grass and wet pavement, and the umbrellas……oh how I love umbrella photos! I’ve lost about 10 umbrellas to wedding parties in the last two weeks! Thanks Tamara for being such an outgoing bride and your girls rocked it in the rain! Kelly is one lucky groom……for lots of reasons 🙂 Congrats!!!
So begins my last year as a twenty- something! Yikes! Our wedding anniversary and my birthday fall a day apart, so after going out to eat and eating cake and opening presents…….I’m ready to get back to work!
