Teresa & Denim – engaged
Teresa and Denim met me in Chippewa Falls for their engagement photos. This was not that long ago, but it was beautiful and warm and it makes me miss that weather already! I loved Teresa’s hair soooo much, the natural backlighting with the sun was perfect for it! Congratulations – looking forward to next summer!
Ben & Rachel (engagement)
Ben and Rachel were in Melanie and Curt’s wedding in August, Lucky for me, they enjoyed my company enough to have me photograph their wedding next year! I had a great time with them at the wedding and at their engagement session. I just love the first photo! Congrats guys, looking forward to seeing you next year!

Emily and Josh will be married next summer in Eau Claire, Wisconsin at the Florian Gardens. If you have ever been to Florian, then you’ve probably seen their faces, since they both work there. Brent and I have had a great time getting to know them and the rest of the Florian staff. We look forward to this wedding next year!

Nicki and Hutch are getting married next June. Nicki and I actually went to high school together, but have not seen each other much in the last ten or so years. It was great to see her again, and talk about how much has changed in life since the days we (or at least I) thought about little other than sports and boys 🙂 I tried to think back to my first memory of Nicki, and I think it would be my 5th or 6th grade year, I spent the night at her place with a couple other girls and we stayed up all night watching a Stephen King Movie. I do believe that was my first scary movie! Congratulations Nicki and Hutch! Looking forward to next summer!

Jessica and Steve will be married next fall. They came over a few weeks ago for their engagement pictures…naturally, with them wearing Packer jerseys…football was a topic of discussion. Brett Favre was definitely brought up. Steve, well he in a few words expressed his resentment for Favre for going to the Vikings. We laughed and joked about the whole media mess it was. It did spark my memory of a conversation I had with a priest a year or so ago. This priest said in a very straight face, and a very matter-of-fact tone, “If Favre goes to the Vikings, he is dead to me.” I guess Favre has a lot of repenting to do for that! 🙂 Enjoy your preview!

Randi & Tom are getting married next July in Ham Lake, MN. We started our session at our studio location, but as pretty as it is there…….it’s that time of year that I am dying for a new place to take pictures. We decided to head into Chetek and just walk around town a bit and photograph. I really enjoyed it!
Gabrielle & Nathan {Eau Claire, Wisconsin wedding photographer}
I’ll be photographing Gabrielle & Nathan’s wedding next summer. It was great to meet them and do their engagement pictures. Gabrielle does some photography of her own, so she had an idea to incorporate their new love of kayaking in their pictures……let me say……I am quite obsessed with them! It couldn’t have been a better evening for their session. And, for the first time in a l-o-n-g time, I appreciated the lake I live on. Watching them get out on their kayaks together reminded me of the days (before kids) when Brent and I would head out on the lake together and relax. While I photographed them, I made a little note in my head to start walking down to the lake for things other than taking pictures. Enjoy your sneak peek!!

This couple has a lot to smile about. They are headed to Jamaica to get married on the beach! And guess what?!! I get to go with them! What a great couple to head to paradise with. I’m looking so forward to it.
