All sessions will take place outdoors at the beautiful Florian Gardens on OCTOBER 8th! (Besides the gardens, there is a pretty field right next door to use for a more natural setting). You can enter the gardens through the side gate. Please arrive 10 minutes early. In the event of rain, October 11th is a back up date.
Sessions will last 3o-40 minutes and it will include the high resolution, edited images on a USB drive with a print release so you can have your child’s photos printed wherever you would like.
A $100 non-refundable deposit is required to book your spot. The remaining balance is due the day of the shoot. If the weather does not cooperate and you are unable to schedule on October 11th, your money will be refunded. Any props you would like to use, please bring along and let me know ahead of time. I tested a fairytale set with the stacked mattresses and homemade crowns and it’s cute! I may have that available if anyone is interested.
Please email firstname.lastname@example.org to get more detailed info and reserve your spot! It will be at a first come, first serve basis.
It’s wonderful on so many levels photographing kids as they grow up. I had the pleasure of photographing Addie for her newborn, six month, one year, and now two-year sessions. She has changed so much! I’m always a little startled at how much a one-year-old-baby-girl turns into a little-lady by age two. Addie is pretty darn smart, so she wasn’t falling for the treats, balloons or goofy faces. She did respond with big smiles only when being thrown in the air, or when her mom was bouncing a beach ball on my head. I LOVE the unpredictability of two-year olds. They make you work for it, and that’s what makes this age so exhausting and so rewarding. Great to see you again – Grant, Terra & Addie!
I traveled to this family’s home to photograph their newest arrival, Jordy. He was so tiny and perfect and slept great through most of the session. The window light in their home was awesome. Jordy’s big sister, Jaelyn was a busy girl but we managed to get some photos of them together. She was very good at giving her little brother kisses. 🙂
Looking forward to seeing this family again in July for their wedding!
One of my brides purchased gift certificates for her bridesmaids to get their families photographed! Such a great idea. This is one of them…I photographed Tammy’s beautiful family on location. It’s been a while since I’ve photographed “older” kids, and wow, this was so fun. I know we are all determined as parents to do family pictures when our kids are little (I’m one of them 🙂 ) but don’t forget to also do it when your kids are school age. The dynamic within this family was so fun and loving, I could have stayed much later and kept shooting.
We started in front of their garage door (green background). For some reason, the light is ALWAYS amazing in front of a garage door. Then we ventured to the lakeside before heading over to the field.
The kids were so cooperative….the dogs were another story 🙂 We tried, but they were too excited to be free to run outside to sit for pictures.
Oh goodness, I love this little girl! Six month sessions are my favorite. They usually smile so easily and can’t run around the studio yet. She was especially sweet and photogenic. Denelle got her clothes and headbands on etsy.com …. Loved seeing Molly’s mom and dad again too. It doesn’t seem like too long ago I was photographing their wedding! Take a peek at how much Molly has changed in just six months by looking at her newborn session here.
Danika and Haddie made it over to my studio a couple weeks ago for Haddie’s first photoshoot. This beautiful little babe just wouldn’t fall into a deep sleep for us, but we worked around it and got some cute shots of her in her pretty little hats.
Her big sister was fun to chase around outside too. It wasn’t a warm day, but little kids never seem to mind being outside regardless of the weather! I just still can’t get over how green everything is. The photos of Danika are near our willow tree that started budding out a few weeks ago.
Hayden visited me a few weeks ago for his first photo session. This shoot was a gift from Hayden’s grandpa, Paul. Such a great idea! I’m so glad I got to meet this little guy and see his parents. I went to CCD class with Hayden’s Uncle Matt way back when and I got to catch up with him as well while scheduling the session. Congrats to Brandon & Megan!
Three generations in this shot (below) Grandpa, Dad and baby.
I cannot get over how cute this brother and sister are. Love their names too 🙂 I met them last summer at my Mexico bride’s wedding reception and remember thinking how darling Caysen was then! So glad I got to see them again as they welcomed a new baby girl into their family.
