Eau Claire wedding photography – Kamp Kenwood

I can’t believe it’s taken me so long to share with you these beautiful wedding photos! Teresa & Denim were married at Kamp Kenwood in Chippewa Falls, and the day was….well… rainy. Not just sprinkles but total downpour until about 5 minutes before their outdoor ceremony. Teresa was a trooper and still wanted it outside, so after moving some chairs around puddles, she walked down the isle to see Denim for the first time that day… This wedding produced some of my favorite images of the season- And yes, I realize I made Teresa spin in her dress a lot, but I loved the end result.

Jenna + Lee – Rice Lake Wedding Photographer

Jenna & Lee are both very sweet and gracious people. I was very excited to photograph their wedding and document the magic of the day.  We began at Jenna’s parent’s home…

We worked in a pretty tight space right next to the patio door & the dining room table, but the natural light was so pretty I didn’t want to move.

Jenna & Lee also opted for a first look. They did not book an all day package, so they were very smart and utilizied every minute they had with me and did not waste precious time before the ceremony. We did the first look, some bridal party photos, and the family pictures ALL before the 3:00 ceremony.

I enjoy seeing a new idea, their centerpieces were just enchanting.

I know I’m stating the obvious, but Jenna – you are a knockout!

Anne Marie & Ryan – Fanny Hill, Eau Claire Wedding Photography

I had not met Ryan before their wedding. Anne Marie and I met in the spring to discuss her wedding plans, but I had not photographed them before. There is always a level of concern for me whenever I don’t get the opportunity to work with the couple during an engagement session. I must say, I worried for nothing. Anne Marie & Ryan were great in front of the camera & while the camera wasn’t on them as well.  Congratulations to you both and best wishes for lots of  fun memories in your new home!

The (above) photo is of Anne Marie receiving a special necklace from her parents. The (below) photo, I love for two reasons: I love a blusher veil and I can just feel the level of anticipation on both their faces.

Did you notice how unique Anne Marie’s bouquet is? She designed it herself and had a local florist put it together.

Katie + Adam – Chippewa Falls wedding photographer

It feels like it has been awhile since I posted a wedding…..oh wait…it has been awhile!  I have a bunch of weddings to post. Here is a peak at a great wedding. Katie & Adam are genuine, motivated, happy people and it was fun to be around such an easy going group.

A toast to Leinenkugel’s beer 😉

If you are wondering where this cool mini-canyon area is… it’s actually in the bride’s parents driveway!

Eau Claire Wedding Photographer – Nora + Ryan

Nora & Ryan have been together for a long time and it shows in a very good way. Together, they move around  fluidly and  are very in tune to each other’s whereabouts. It makes my job much that much more fun.  As you can plainly see, they are a beautiful couple, and they created a stunning wedding at one of my favorite venues – The Florian Gardens.  Brent and I truly enjoyed everyone’s company and were so happy the weather cooperated! Congratulations, Nora and Ryan.

These photos and more from their wedding will be posted on Facebook very soon!

Nora loves peonie’s as do I, and I seriously thought her bouquet was just that. They are actually garden roses and I thought they were beautiful…This may have been my favorite bouquet of the summer.

Eau Claire wedding photographer – Gina + Jordan

The day I met Gina, I instantly liked her. She’s outgoing and sweet and we were like buddies when we finally got up and parted ways. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed working with her and just getting to know her & her equally sweet fiance, Jordan. Their wedding is set for this fall and I am very anxious to have fun with them while they tie the knot.  We shot their engagement session at Banbury Place, and the light was about as perfect as it can get!

Loved her pink heels!

Minnesota wedding photographer – Randi + Tom

Congratulations, Randi & Tom on a beautiful Minnesota wedding!  It was fun to venture to a new area for the day.

Evening is definitely my favorite time to photograph. Randi and Tom were troopers walking through tall grass kicking up mosquitos to get some of my favorite shots of the day.

I don’t think anyone quite understood what I loved about this old garage when there was a beautiful golf course right next to us. But, the color/texture/light was so great there I couldn’t resist!!

It wasn’t dark yet when it was time for me to go, but we got out the sparklers anyway for some fun pictures to end the day.

Beth & Rob – Irvine Park wedding

Beth and Rob were married on a Sunday afternoon, under the shade of beautiful trees, surrounded by family & friends-on the nicest day of the summer! They are a lucky couple. Congrats to the newlyweds on a beautiful wedding and best wishes for a marriage filled with as much happiness and laughter as they shared on their wedding day.

Nicki & Hutch – Chetek, WI Wedding Photographer

I couldn’t be happier posting images from Nicki &  Hutch’s wedding day. They were a breeze to photograph in every sense of the word. It was very hard for me to narrow them down for this post. When people are truly happy, it shows through every photo, whether given direction or not. I probably didn’t need to tell them what to do, they created photographic magic just being near each other.  Nicki, thank you for putting trust in a girl from high school to shoot your wedding.  It was very cool to see you so beautiful and so totally in love. And to get to take pictures, well that was just the icing on the cake. Congrats to you both, keep in touch!

Another something exciting from this wedding…my dear friends, Al & Richard were Nicki’s florists, and they did not dissapoint! (715-868-4433)

This wedding was also a family affair. My mom (Just Friends Catering) made the food. It was excellent as always.

I’ll end with a photo that really represents Nicki & Hutch together. Him always with his arm around her and kissing her forehead.

Life and Style Photography – gift

Not sure what to get your friend for her wedding?  A photography gift certificate is a great idea so the newlyweds can enjoy a wedding photo on their wall for a lifetime.

(Can be for any amount over $25)

I have two very exciting  (to me) announcements to make soon!! Happy Friday everyone!
