Amanda + Ryan I Life and Style Weddings
Jenna & Lee are both very sweet and gracious people. I was very excited to photograph their wedding and document the magic of the day. We began at Jenna’s parent’s home…

We worked in a pretty tight space right next to the patio door & the dining room table, but the natural light was so pretty I didn’t want to move.

Jenna & Lee also opted for a first look. They did not book an all day package, so they were very smart and utilizied every minute they had with me and did not waste precious time before the ceremony. We did the first look, some bridal party photos, and the family pictures ALL before the 3:00 ceremony.
I enjoy seeing a new idea, their centerpieces were just enchanting.
I know I’m stating the obvious, but Jenna – you are a knockout!
I had not met Ryan before their wedding. Anne Marie and I met in the spring to discuss her wedding plans, but I had not photographed them before. There is always a level of concern for me whenever I don’t get the opportunity to work with the couple during an engagement session. I must say, I worried for nothing. Anne Marie & Ryan were great in front of the camera & while the camera wasn’t on them as well. Congratulations to you both and best wishes for lots of fun memories in your new home!

The (above) photo is of Anne Marie receiving a special necklace from her parents. The (below) photo, I love for two reasons: I love a blusher veil and I can just feel the level of anticipation on both their faces.

Did you notice how unique Anne Marie’s bouquet is? She designed it herself and had a local florist put it together.
It feels like it has been awhile since I posted a wedding…..oh wait…it has been awhile! I have a bunch of weddings to post. Here is a peak at a great wedding. Katie & Adam are genuine, motivated, happy people and it was fun to be around such an easy going group.
A toast to Leinenkugel’s beer 😉
If you are wondering where this cool mini-canyon area is… it’s actually in the bride’s parents driveway!
I met this happy couple in Chippewa Falls & Lake Altoona to photograph their engagement. It was a perfect evening and we had fun chatting about their wedding and Amber’s sisters upcoming wedding that I’m photographing this fall. Looking forward to seeing them again then!

Their dog was young and energetic and so much fun to add to some of the photos!
Melanie & Curt’s wedding was in Durand, Wi with a reception following at the Florian Gardens in Eau Claire. It was such a great day for a photographer! Both venues were beautiful as were the couple and their beautiful daughter, Hailey. I was very happy to document their entire day. Such wonderful people.

{I so badly want a picture like this with me and my two little girls!} 🙂

I’ll be photographing Gabrielle & Nathan’s wedding next summer. It was great to meet them and do their engagement pictures. Gabrielle does some photography of her own, so she had an idea to incorporate their new love of kayaking in their pictures……let me say……I am quite obsessed with them! It couldn’t have been a better evening for their session. And, for the first time in a l-o-n-g time, I appreciated the lake I live on. Watching them get out on their kayaks together reminded me of the days (before kids) when Brent and I would head out on the lake together and relax. While I photographed them, I made a little note in my head to start walking down to the lake for things other than taking pictures. Enjoy your sneak peek!!

Maria and Eric were married in Chetek, WI on July 24th. I live so close to Chetek, yet most of my weddings are in the Eau Claire area. It was nice to be close to home! This wedding was so fun. The day went so smoothly and I was totally in love with Maria’s dress/hair/makeup. I was also loving the fact that she’s a Polish girl {as am I :)} and incorporated polish traditions in her wedding day. They’re also a very lucky couple. The day was gorgeous, and the rain held off until dinner. It poured and poured for about 20 minutes…….but after, the sky was gorgeous and we went out on the golf course to get some stunning pictures.

I was taking this {below} picture and thought, Maria looks like she could just lift up to the sky. The light was gorgeous and you can’t get clouds better than that.
I wish you could hear the music behind this photo {below}. It’s times like this that it’s hard to stand at the edge of the dance floor and stay behind my camera. I just want to get out and dance. You can definitely count on some polka music at my girls’ weddings and me out on the floor with them like Maria and her mom are!
Ok, for any of you engaged couples reading this blog…check out this below picture. Eric hit knocked it out of the park on Maria’s wedding gift. I believe he bought it at Laskers in E.C., and Maria was thrilled with it. {I loved it too.} I am going to start offering links to great gift websites to help you grooms out. I also am in the works of creating some fun photo jewelry available for wedding presents.
